Funds are disbursed in two equal payments at the beginning and midpoint of the fellowship term. The funds can be used for educational costs such as tuition, fees, required course materials (books and supplies), living expenses (housing, food), dependent care (childcare), and travel. The approximate conversion used is 1 USD = 95.5 INR.
