The Andhra Pradesh Post-Matric BC Scholarship provides financial assistance through two main components: Reimbursement of Tuition Fees (RTF) and Maintenance Fee (MTF). The RTF covers 100% of tuition fees, special fees, other fees, and exam fees, as fixed by the competent authorities. This amount is credited directly to the respective college accounts on behalf of the students. The MTF is provided for food and hostel expenses annually, with ₹10,000 for ITI students, ₹15,000 for Polytechnic students, and ₹20,000 for students pursuing Degree or above courses. The MTF is disbursed monthly, subject to maintaining 75% aggregate attendance, and is credited directly to the Aadhaar-linked bank account of the student's mother. In case of the mother's demise or absence, the amount is sent to the natural guardian's bank account. All scholarship amounts are paid through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

Selection Process
The Andhra Pradesh Post-Matric BC Scholarship is implemented on a saturation basis for all eligible students belonging to Backward Classes (BC), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Economically Backward Classes (EBC) (other than Kapu), Kapu, Minority, and Differently Abled categories who meet the specified eligibility criteria.

What is the annual family income limit to be eligible for the scholarship?
For students belonging to Backward Classes (BC), the total annual family income from all sources must be less than or equal to ₹2,50,000 to qualify for the scholarship benefits. Additionally, the family's total landholding should not exceed 10 acres of wet land, 25 acres of dry land, or 25 acres combining both wet and dry land. No member of the family should be a government employee/pensioner (excluding sanitary workers), or own a four-wheeler (excluding taxies/tractors/autos), and the family should not own property or a built-up area of more than 1500 Sft in urban areas.
How and when is the scholarship amount disbursed?
