Mandatory Documents Checklist

How to Apply Online

Applications are submitted online via the official portal. Complete eKYC, upload scanned documents, and submit before the closing date.

  Create an account on the Online Australia Scholarships Information System (OASIS) at `https://oasis.dfat.gov.au/`.

  Complete Application

  Fill out the online application form on OASIS thoroughly. Tailor your application, including your Statement of Purpose (SOP), to highlight your leadership potential and how your proposed study will contribute to India's development and strengthen Australia-India linkages.

  Upload all required supporting documents to your OASIS application before the deadline.

  Submit your completed application online. For the 2027 intake, applications opened on February 1, 2026, and the deadline is April 30, 2026 (14:00 AEST).

  Following eligibility checks, applications will be assessed and shortlisted by Australian Government representatives (May-July 2026). Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview in New Delhi, which includes a writing exercise (August-September 2026).

  Successful candidates undergo university placement and admission processing (October-December 2026), followed by pre-departure preparations, visa application, and an Introductory Academic Program (IAP) (January-June 2027).
