Selection Process

  • Selection is strictly based on merit, determined by the student's performance in the Matriculation Examination conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala

  • The scholarship is awarded to the top 1,250 meritorious students from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category and the top 1,000 meritorious students from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category.

Renewal Policy

  • The scholarship is tenable for a maximum of two years

  • Renewal for the second year (10+2 Class or 2nd year of professional/technical course) is contingent upon satisfactory performance in the internal examinations of Class 11 or the first year of the course.
