Benefits & Financial Support
₹15.2 Lakh+
The scholarship provides a monthly stipend that varies based on the duration of the degree program. For 1 or 2-year programs, recipients receive ¥230,000 per month. For 3-year programs, it is ¥210,000 per month, and for 4 or 5-year programs, it is ¥180,000 per month. There is no repayment obligation. This generous stipend is intended to cover living costs and tuition. Additional travel grants may be provided for attending international academic conferences. The estimated annual amounts in INR are calculated using an approximate conversion rate of 1 JPY = 0.599 INR.
