The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) is a fully funded scholarship. It covers full tuition fees for the graduate program, a monthly subsistence allowance to cover all living expenses (accommodations, food, books, etc.) while on campus (the amount varies depending on the host country), economy class air travel between the scholar's home country and the host university at the start and end of the study program, a US $600 travel allowance for each trip, and the cost of basic medical insurance obtained through the university. The scholarship does not cover visa application costs, expenses for family members, extra-curricular courses, language training not provided by the graduate program, additional travel during the program, or research-related expenses. Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to Aadhaar-seeded accounts is not applicable as this is an international scholarship program.
