Benefits & Financial Support
The scholarship provides a monthly stipend of €992 (approx. 108,128 INR) for Bachelor's (from 2nd semester), Master's, and Postgraduate students, and €1,400 (approx. 152,530 INR) per month for doctoral candidates. (Based on 1 EUR = 109.00 INR as of July 12, 2026). Additional allowances are available upon request, including: * A health insurance subsidy of up to €120 (approx. 13,080 INR) per month. * A family allowance of €276 (approx. 30,084 INR) per month if your spouse resides in Germany for more than three months and meets income requirements. * A child allowance of €250 (approx. 27,250 INR) per child per month with proper documentation. * Partial reimbursement of university tuition fees up to €750 (approx. 81,750 INR) per semester in exceptional cases. Fees related to enrollment, re-registration, or exmatriculation (e.g., semester ticket, student union fees) are not covered.
