The scholarship provides financial assistance annually. Students in Classes 9 and 10 receive ₹5,000 per annum, while students in Classes 11 and 12 receive ₹10,000 annually. The award is disbursed directly into the student's Aadhaar-linked bank account. A joint bank account with a parent/guardian is also permissible, provided it is active and Aadhaar-seeded.

Selection Process

  • Candidates are selected based on fulfilling specific eligibility criteria

  • Applicants must be domiciled in Delhi and belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Class (OBC) community

  • Students must be enrolled in Classes 9 to 12 in an educational institution recognized/affiliated with the Department of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, or municipal local bodies of Delhi

  • The annual income of the parent

  • (s)/guardian should not exceed ₹8,00,000

  • However, this income limit is waived for students who secured 75% or above marks in the previous class

  • A minimum of 50% marks is required for students in Classes 9 and 10 in the previous class, and 60% marks for students in Classes 11 and 12

  • Repeaters in a particular class are not eligible for this scheme.

Renewal Policy

  • Annual renewal is based on academic performance

  • Students must not be repeaters in any class to be eligible for renewal

  • It is implied that the student must continue to meet the minimum academic performance criteria (50% for classes 9-10 and 60% for classes 11-12) and other eligibility conditions to renew the scholarship.

Applications are submitted online via Online. Complete eKYC, upload scanned documents, and submit before the closing date.

    * Visit the official e-District Delhi portal: https://edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in/ * If you are a new user, click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to register. * Select Aadhaar card as the document type, enter your Aadhaar number, and the captcha code. * Tick the checkbox and click 'Continue' to complete registration. * A login ID and password will be sent to your registered mobile number/email address.
