The Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) is valued at $5,000 CAD per academic term. Students can receive $10,000 CAD for two consecutive terms (8 months) or a maximum of $15,000 CAD for three consecutive terms (12 months) in one academic year. The scholarship is jointly funded by the Government of Ontario (two-thirds) and participating Ontario universities (one-third). This funding is intended to support graduate studies and can help offset tuition or living expenses. Based on an approximate conversion rate of 1 CAD = 67.4 INR, this translates to approximately 674,000 INR to 1,011,000 INR annually.
