The scholarship is fully funded. It covers full course fees for both the Master's degree and the MBA programme. Additionally, it provides a grant for living costs of at least £21,805 (approximately 2,289,525 INR, based on 1 GBP = 105 INR) for each year of study.
Inclusions
Target Degree:New applicants to the Oxford 1+1 MBA programme, which combines a Master's degree from one of several Oxford University departments with a one-year MBA.
Nationality:Open to applicants of any nationality from all over the world.
Admission Status:Must be admitted to both a 1+1 MBA partnering programme and to the MBA prior to being considered for the scholarship (waitlisted or re-evaluated applicants will not be considered).
Academic Achievement:Demonstrated academic excellence.
Leadership Potential:Demonstrated through experience and motivation.
Character & Commitment:Strong personal character, integrity, and commitment.
Social Impact Focus:Intention to address world-scale social challenges in your career, either in an existing organisation or through the development of a new enterprise.
Vision:Ability to envision how to achieve scalable and sustainable solutions to these challenges and an articulated vision on how the Oxford 1+1 MBA will help you fulfil your objectives.
Work Experience:While not a direct scholarship eligibility, the MBA component generally requires at least two years of full-time work experience demonstrating career progression, international exposure, and leadership potential.

The selection process is highly competitive and based on the following attributes, which should be highlighted in the 1+1 MBA application, scholarship essay, and interview answers:

Shortlisting is planned for early April, with candidates invited to interview in late April or early May.
Renewal Policy
The scholarship provides funding for both years of the 1+1 MBA programme (the Master's degree year and the MBA year)
Renewal for the second year is contingent upon satisfactory academic progress and continuation in the 1+1 MBA programme.
Application Process
- 1Meet Entry Requirements
Ensure you meet the entry requirements for both the Oxford MBA and your chosen Master's program.
- 2Apply to Master's Program
Submit a complete application for your chosen Master's program by its specific deadline (deadlines vary but typically fall in December or January).
- 3Apply to 1+1 MBA
Submit a complete application for the 1+1 MBA program by January 7, 2027.
- 4Upload Scholarship Essay
In the 'Funding' section of the 1+1 MBA application, upload a scholarship essay (maximum 500 words) addressing the question: 'How do you intend to change the world and what does this tell us about you as a person?'.
- 5Submit Supporting Documents
Ensure all required supporting documents, such as academic transcripts, GMAT/GRE scores, letters of recommendation, CV, and English proficiency certificates, are submitted with both your Master's and MBA applications.
- 6Interview
If shortlisted, you will be invited for an interview with the scholarship panel, typically in late April or early May.
