German universities use TestAS in three main ways:

4 Rules for TestAS Preparation in India
- Choose English Delivery: If applying for English-taught programs, select the English language version of TestAS. TestAS language selection does NOT penalize your score.
- Practice Formal Logic & Spatial Visualization: The Engineering module tests formalizing technical interrelationships and visualizing 3D spatial structures.

Is TestAS mandatory for all Indian Master's applicants?
NO. TestAS is mandatory primarily for undergraduate (Bachelor's) applicants and select competitive Master's programs. However, for Master's applicants with an average Indian CGPA (e.g. 7.0), submitting a top TestAS score (110+) is the single best way to beat higher-CGPA competitors!
