    Go to scholarship.up.gov.in and click "Student" -> "Registration" (Fresh or Renewal).

    Choose Category & Education Level

    Select your caste category (General/SC/ST, OBC, or Minority) and educational stage (Pre-Matric, Post-Matric Inter, or Post-Matric Other Than Inter).

    Generate Registration Number

    Fill in High School board details, mobile number, and create a secure password to generate your UP Scholarship Registration Number.

    DigiLocker Verification & Scrutiny

    Log in under Student Login, complete DigiLocker authentication, enter e-District income and caste certificate numbers, and submit for institutional scrutiny.

    Open scholarship.up.gov.in and click on the "Status" dropdown in the main header menu.

    Select your application session and input your Registration Number and Date of Birth.

    View your real-time status: College Scrutiny -> District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Clearance -> District Welfare Officer (DWO) Approval -> PFMS Disbursed.
