How Candidates are Selected
Selection is entirely merit-based, determined by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination of the previous class. The traditional YASASVI Entrance Test (YET) has been permanently discontinued. Priority is given to students belonging to OBC, EBC, and DNT categories with an annual family income below ₹2.50 Lakhs.

Your college/school checks your bonafide status, fees paid, and marks cards against the database.
District Welfare Officer / State Board Sanction
The state/central department approves the budget release for verified records based on category quotas.
Fund Disbursement via DBT
The bank issues direct fund credits to Aadhaar-seeded accounts using treasury payment systems.

For the 2026 cycle, selection is based on school board marks and empanelled school enrollment criteria on the NSP portal (no separate entrance exam).
Q.What is the scholarship amount?
Eligible Class 9 and 10 students receive up to ₹75,000/year; Class 11 and 12 students receive up to ₹1,25,000/year.
