Bharti Airtel Scholarship 2025-2026 provides 100% tuition fees, hostel charges, and a free laptop for meritorious engineering students in India's top 50 NIRF-ranked institutions. Apply by July 31, 2025 with family income below ₹8.5 lakh.

The Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program 2026-27 is a fully funded scholarship that covers 100% of the annual course fees as per the university/institute's fee structure. It also includes full coverage for hostel and mess charges for eligible students. For students residing in Paying Guest (PG) accommodations or outside the campus hostel, the funds for living expenses will be disbursed based on the hostel/mess charges of the institute or actuals, whichever is less. Additionally, all selected 'Bharti Scholars' receive a high-end laptop in their first year. The scholarship does not cover sundry and refundable expenses such as counselling (JOSAA) fees, library fees, refundable security deposits, internet charges, laundry, breakage, or any other miscellaneous charges raised by the college during the academic year.

The Bharti Airtel Scholarship is a merit-cum-means-based program. Candidates are selected based on a multi-stage process:

Eligibility Screening:Applicants must be Indian citizens and residents with confirmed admission in the first year (academic year 2026-27) of a full-time undergraduate or 5-year integrated technology-based engineering program. The course must be in fields like Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Sciences, Aerospace Engineering, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Machine Learning, or Robotics.

Institute Requirement:Admission must be secured in a university or institute ranked among the top 50 engineering institutions as per the latest National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) list.

Financial Threshold:The combined annual family income from all sources must not exceed INR 8 Lakhs.

Exclusivity:Applicants must not be receiving any other corporate or foundational scholarship or financial aid for the same academic purpose.

Preference Criteria:While open to all eligible students, preference is given to girl students, persons with disabilities, students from single-parent or orphaned backgrounds, and transgender candidates.

Application Screening & SOP Evaluation:Initial shortlisting is based on academic performance (12th marks, entrance exam ranks like JEE Main/Advanced/Institutional), verification of the NIRF ranking of the institute, annual family income, and a written Statement of Purpose (SOP).

Document Verification:Verified documents include parental ITR/Income Certificate, college fee structure, rank details, bank statements, and applicant identity proof.

Renewal Policy

Scholarships are granted for the full duration of the undergraduate or integrated courses, up to a maximum of 5 years, subject to meeting annual renewal criteria

The renewal conditions are based on maintaining a minimum CGPA of 6.0, satisfactory attendance, and good conduct

If the admitted institute drops out of the top 50 NIRF ranking in subsequent years, the scholarship will not be affected and will continue as long as the student meets the renewal conditions.

Common Questions (FAQs)
Are there any college expenses that this scholarship does not cover?
Yes, the scholarship does not cover certain expenses. These include counselling (JOSAA) charges, library fees, refundable security deposits, internet charges, laundry, breakage, damage recovery charges, or any other miscellaneous or mid-year requirements raised by the college. These specific fees will need to be borne by the student.
Does the scholarship provide extra consideration to any specific group of students?
