Benefits & Financial Support
Think Big undergraduate scholarships are valued at £6,500 (approximately 682,500 INR) and £13,000 (approximately 1,365,000 INR) per year for up to four years of study towards tuition fees. Think Big postgraduate scholarships are valued at £6,500, £13,000, and £26,000 (approximately 682,500 INR, 1,365,000 INR, and 2,730,000 INR respectively) for the first year of study towards tuition fees. Postgraduate applicants may also be eligible for a Think Big Career Accelerator scholarship of £3,000 (approximately 315,000 INR) or a £3,000 living cost bursary during their first year of study. The scholarships are applied as a tuition fee waiver directly to your tuition fees, with no cash alternative offered for the tuition component. The bursary, if awarded, is paid directly into your bank account.
Inclusions
Applicants must have applied to start an eligible full-time Undergraduate programme or any eligible one-year, full-time Postgraduate programme (including MRes programmes) or one of the eligible two-year programmes (e.g., MSc Social Work, MA Law) at the University of Bristol, commencing in September 2026.
Applicants must be classified as an overseas student for fee-paying purposes.
For undergraduate applicants, courses in Bristol Dental School and Bristol Medical School are not eligible.
Applicants must have received an offer to study at the University of Bristol before Friday, April 24, 2026.
Undergraduate applicants must meet or exceed the entry requirements as stated in their formal UCAS offer before August 31, 2026, and must confirm the University of Bristol as their Firm choice offer in UCAS.
Postgraduate applicants must meet or exceed the entry requirements as stated by the University of Bristol.
Applicants must not already be in receipt of other funding which would equate to more than the full cost of tuition fees alongside a Bristol scholarship.

The selection process is merit-based. Applicants are assessed based on their responses to three short essay questions within the online scholarship application form. These questions focus on:

Motivation for studying at the University of Bristol and ultimate career goals.
By submitting one application form, applicants are considered for all Think Big Scholarships for which they meet the eligibility requirements.
Renewal Policy
Unless otherwise specified, undergraduate scholarships are awarded for all years of undergraduate study at the University of Bristol, excluding semesters spent away (e.g., industry placements), subject to maintaining satisfactory academic progress
Postgraduate scholarships are generally for the first year of study
The Think Big Career Accelerator scholarship is a year-long program
Funding for repeat or supplementary study is reviewed on a case-by-case basis
Scholarships cannot be deferred to a later year
if a student defers their university place, the scholarship cannot be transferred.
Application Process

Complete and submit the International Scholarships online application form by the deadline (April 10, 2026, 10 AM UK time for 2026/2027 entry).
