Eligible general students receive ₹500 per month for a maximum of 10 months, totaling ₹5,000 annually. Students with a disability of 40% or more receive ₹1,000 per month for up to 10 months, amounting to ₹10,000 annually. The scholarship amount is typically disbursed annually and transferred directly to the student's Aadhaar-seeded bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Annual scholarship of ₹5,000 paid via DBT (or ₹10,000 for disabled students).

Selection Process

  • Candidates are selected based on the following criteria: The student must be a native of Rajasthan and a regular student in a government or recognized non-government higher or technical institute within Rajasthan

  • Applicants must have passed their 12th examination from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), Ajmer, in the current academic year with a minimum of 60% marks and secured a place within the top one lakh merit list

  • The annual family income of the student's parents or guardians should not exceed ₹2,50,000

  • Students with a disability of 40% or more are also eligible under specific provisions

  • Importantly, applicants must not be receiving any other scholarship or financial assistance from any other scheme

  • Possession of a savings account in a nationalized bank, Aadhaar Card, and Jan Aadhaar Card is mandatory for application.

Renewal Policy

  • The scholarship benefits are available for a maximum duration of five years for regular students

  • Students who were previously approved for this scholarship and are continuously pursuing higher education in recognized institutions are eligible for renewal

  • The renewal process generally involves logging into the SSO Portal, selecting the 'Renewal Application' option, updating any necessary information, uploading required new documents, and resubmitting the application

  • Maintaining satisfactory academic performance is also a condition for scholarship renewal.
