Benefits & Financial Support
₹3.0 Lakh+
The Delhi Government Play and Progress Scheme provides annual financial assistance up to ₹3,00,000 for student-athletes under 17 years and up to ₹2,00,000 for student-athletes under 14 years. This financial support is intended to cover specialized coaching, nutritional diet supplements, sports equipment/kits, medical care, and travel for matches. Additionally, students are provided with medical insurance of up to ₹5 lakh and accident insurance of up to ₹5 lakh to address medical needs, including sports injuries. The assistance is provided annually, and typically disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts. The application cycle for the academic year 2025-26 has closed, and the cycle for 2026-27 is expected to open soon.
Financial support of up to ₹3,00,000 per year to cover specialized coaching, nutritional diet supplements, sports equipment/kits, medical care, and travel for matches.

Renewal Policy

Applications are submitted online via Online. Complete eKYC, upload scanned documents, and submit before the closing date.
