Benefits & Financial Support
Scholarship amounts vary by category, course level (Pre-matric/Post-matric), and residence distance. For OBC +2 students, the minimum is ₹160 annually. SC students receive ₹630 (college within 8 km) or ₹750 (above 8 km), and ₹1,500 for professional course students living independently. All payments are disbursed via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly to Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts, with no physical stipend distribution.

Renewal is for existing beneficiaries who maintained attendance and academic progress.
Renewal Policy
Renewal is available for existing beneficiaries from the academic year 2025-26
Candidates must maintain at least 75% monthly attendance and pass their previous year's examination
The process involves logging into the E-Grantz 3.0 portal, selecting 'Renewal' under the applicable scheme, updating any changed details, and submitting required documents
Fresh applications for 2025-26 are open until November 30, 2026.
Application Process
- 1Complete One-Time Registration (OTR)
Visit https://scholarships.gov.in and complete OTR with Aadhaar and basic details. **
- 2Register on E-Grantz 3.0
Go to https://egrantz.kerala.gov.in/, click 'One-Time Registration', enter Aadhaar number and name, validate Aadhaar, fill additional data, and click 'Register'. **
- 3Login & Profile Completion
Log in with your credentials, fill your complete profile (course, institution, bank details), and save. **
- 4Apply for Scholarship
Click 'Apply for Scholarships', select the relevant scheme (e.g., Post-matric Scholarship for OBC/SC/ST), choose your program, fill the form, upload documents (Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Aadhaar, Marklists, Bank Passbook), and submit. **
- 5Submit Hard Copy
Print the application form and submit it with all required hard-copy documents at your institution's Scholarship counter. **
- 6Track Status
Click 'Track Application', enter Aadhaar number and Date of Birth to view application status, remarks, and disbursement details.
