The Emile Boutmy scholarship offers various forms of financial aid for both undergraduate and Master's students. For undergraduate students, tuition grants can range from €3,900 to €14,900 per year for the three-year program. In exceptional cases, an undergraduate scholarship may reach up to €19,000 per year, which can include a tuition grant and a cost-of-living grant of €5,000 per year. For Master's students, the scholarship provides a tuition exemption of up to €18,500 per year for the two-year program. (Conversion based on 1 EUR = 109.07 INR as of July 12, 2026)
Inclusions
Nationality:Open to first-time applicants who are international students from non-European Union (EU) states.
Tax Residence:The applicant's household must not file taxes within the European Union.
Admission:Must be admitted to an eligible undergraduate or Master's program at Sciences Po.
Academic Excellence:Candidates with excellent academic records will be prioritized.
Medical Fitness:Applicants must be medically fit.
Exclusions (not eligible):
Swiss and Norwegian applicants (eligible for CROUS scholarships).
Candidates with dual citizenship, where one is an EU citizenship.
Master's degree applicants from Quebec (Bachelor's degree applicants from Quebec are eligible).
Candidates for one-year Master's programs or PhD programs.
Master's level dual-degree candidates, except for specific programs: the dual degree in Journalism Sciences Po/Columbia University, the dual degree Sciences Po/Fudan University (Europe-Asia in Global Affairs, only for Chinese nationals), and the dual degree Sciences Po/Peking University (only for Chinese nationals).
Exchange students are eligible to apply if they meet other criteria.

If an undergraduate recipient continues to a Master's program at Sciences Po, the Émile Boutmy scholarship is automatically extended to the Master's level
The scholarship is forfeited if the student fails to validate their academic year or decides to defer their admission.
