Benefits & Financial Support

The FAEA Scholarship does not have a fixed annual amount; instead, it offers comprehensive financial support determined by the applicant's needs, proposed study plan, and available funds. The scholarship may cover the full or partial cost of undergraduate studies for up to five years, including tuition fees, maintenance allowance, hostel/mess charges, travel expenses, clothing, and book purchases.. Tuition and hostel/mess charges are typically disbursed directly to the educational institution, while other allowances (maintenance, books, clothing, travel) are disbursed directly to the scholars, often into Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts.. For scholars not availing hostel facilities, a maintenance allowance of ₹1800 per annum is provided. A book allowance of up to ₹2000 per annum is also released at the beginning of the academic year.. A miscellaneous allowance of ₹3,000 per annum is for those entitled to Hostel/Mess charges..

Eligibility criteria include:being an Indian citizen, having passed Class 12 from a recognized board in India, or being currently enrolled in the first year of an undergraduate program at any recognized university, institution, or college in India.

Renewal Policy

The FAEA Scholarship is annually renewable for a maximum duration of up to five years (three years for undergraduate studies, extendable for two years for postgraduate studies).

Renewal is strictly subject to the scholar maintaining good academic performance and the availability of funds.

To renew the scholarship, scholars must submit: an attested mark sheet of the academic year certified by the college principal, a recommendation letter from the college principal confirming satisfactory academic performance, details of their percentage of marks, a scholarship declaration letter stating they are not receiving any other scholarships, and an annual expenditure/fee certificate for the upcoming academic year.

The scholarship may be discontinued if a student fails to maintain satisfactory academic progress, suffers from a mental or physical illness hindering academic progress, or provides fake documents.

Scholars are also required to inform the FAEA office of any other grants, scholarships, or financial aid received, as this may lead to renegotiation or even withdrawal of the award if not reported..
