About the Program

The IIT Kharagpur Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship waives tuition fees and pays a pocket allowance of ₹1,000/month to students with family income under ₹6 Lakhs.

What happens if my CGPA falls below 7.0?

If your CGPA falls below 7.0, you will lose eligibility to renew the MCM scholarship for that academic year.

SC/ST students already receive a tuition waiver and are eligible for the Post-Matric Scholarship or other welfare schemes, so they are generally excluded from MCM.
