Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme is the flagship scheme of the Andhra Pradesh Government designed to provide financial assistance for food and hostel expenses to eligible students pursuing post-metric courses. This Aadhar-enabled direct bank transfer scheme aims to encourage students from economically backward categories to pursue higher education without financial constraints.

Students are automatically eligible for Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme after applying for Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme
Selection is based on community category (SC/ST/BC/EBC/Kapu/Minority/Differently Abled), family income not exceeding Rs. 2.50 lakhs, residency requirement, and eligibility course criteria
Ineligibility factors are checked including property ownership, four-wheeler possession, government employee status, and tax payer status in family.
Renewal Policy
Application of the student is subject to renewal every year
Continuation of scholarship depends on maintaining required attendance and other eligibility criteria.
Application Process
1. Student must first apply for Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme, 2. Students automatically become eligible for Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme after Vidya Deevena application, 3. Ensure all required documents are submitted including domicile, Aadhar card, income certificate, and college admission details, 4. Provide necessary declarations confirming eligibility criteria, 5. Link your bank account details for direct fund transfer, 6. Maintain 75% attendance for fund release, 7. Receive funds in two instalments in July and December
