For professional courses, male students may receive 50% reimbursement, while female students can receive 100% reimbursement of tuition and exam fees as per the Government Resolution dated July 8, 2024. Selection Process

  • Admission to Diploma, Degree, or Postgraduate Professional courses must be secured through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP)

  • Students are required to have scored at least 50% marks in their previous examination

  • Generally, only the first two children from a family are eligible for the scheme, with exceptions allowing any number of girl applicants

  • Students should not have a gap of two or more years during their course duration.

Renewal Policy

  • To renew the scholarship, the student must have passed the previous year's examination

  • If a student fails in a particular year, they will not receive the scholarship for that year, but if they pass in the next attempt, they can become eligible again

  • The renewal application is submitted through the MahaDBT portal, using the application ID from the previous year

  • The last date for renewal applications for the academic year 2025-26 is September 30, 2026.
