The scholarship provides financial assistance covering tuition fees, examination fees, and a monthly maintenance allowance. The maintenance allowance varies based on the course group and whether the student is a hosteller or day scholar. For hostellers, the monthly allowance ranges from ₹150 to ₹425 for 10 months, while for day scholars, it ranges from ₹90 to ₹190 for 10 months. Full tuition and examination fees are reimbursed for students studying in government or government-aided institutions. For students in non-government or unaided institutions, 50% of tuition and examination fees and 100% of the maintenance allowance are covered. For D.Ed. and B.Ed. courses, 100% of tuition fees, examination fees, and maintenance allowance are applicable. Additionally, as per a Government Resolution dated July 8, 2024, OBC girl applicants receive 100% scholarship benefits. The scholarship benefits are disbursed in two installments directly into Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts.
