Benefits & Financial Support
The scholarship covers 100% of course fees until the minimum credit points for your degree are achieved. This excludes Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), accommodation, and living expenses. Based on an estimated average annual tuition fee of AUD 45,000 for international students, this scholarship is approximately INR 2,475,000 per year (using an approximate conversion rate of 1 AUD = 55 INR).
Inclusions
Must be an international student (not an Australian citizen or permanent resident).
Must have received a full, unconditional Monash University course offer.
Must intend to enrol full-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree at a Monash campus in Australia.
Not eligible if:
Currently a Monash student.
Studying an Australian Year 12.
Commencing a Bachelor of Medical Science, Doctor of Medicine (MD), or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Enrolled in Monash Pathway programs (e.g., Monash College and Monash University Foundation Year).
Transferring from another Monash campus or applying from another Australian university.
Receiving any other Monash scholarships or financial support.

Selection Process
Selection is based on academic achievement, the quality of a 500-word scholarship application statement, and the applicant's potential to be an ambassador for Monash University.
Renewal Policy
To retain the scholarship, recipients must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 or above each semester
They are also required to participate in the Campus Ambassador Program from their second semester and be profiled in relevant Monash marketing, recruitment, and promotional activities (e.g., attending official scholarship functions and networking events).

Students are automatically considered for the Monash International Leadership Scholarships upon receiving an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework offer. Consideration for the 2026/2027 academic intake (for 2027 enrollment) occurs in multiple rounds, with the deadline for Round two consideration for Semester one or two of 2027 being November 15, 2026.
