The NITK Surathkal Merit-cum-Means & Merit Scholarships provide financial stipends and cash awards to top-ranking and low-income students.
Benefits & Financial Support
MCM Scholarship provides a stipend of ₹2,000 per month (₹24,000 per year). Merit Scholarship offers a flat ₹10,000 per year.

Merit awards are given to the top 5 meritorious students of each branch.

Must be enrolled in Engineering, Technology. Minimum 70% marks required in previous exam.

Selection Process
MCM is based on CGPA >= 7.0 and income < ₹4.5 Lakhs
Merit is based strictly on academic rank (top 5 in branch) and CGPA > 9.0.
Renewal Policy
Must maintain a CGPA of 7.0 or above at the end of each academic year to renew MCM.
