How to Apply Online

Applications are submitted online via Online. Complete eKYC, upload scanned documents, and submit before the closing date.

  One-Time Registration (OTR) on National Scholarship Portal (for ST students) Before applying on the Oasis portal, ST applicants are typically required to generate a One-Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) as per Ministry of Tribal Affairs guidelines. ###

  New Student Registration on Oasis Portal 1. Visit the official Oasis Scholarship portal: `https://oasis.gov.in`. 2. Click on 'Student's Registration' in the 'Students Corner'. 3. Select the district where your institution is located. Students studying outside West Bengal should select the district of their permanent address. 4. On the caste certificate verification page, enter your computerized Caste Certificate Number, the issuing date, and other required details. Fill in the captcha and proceed. 5. Enter your OTR Number (if applicable) and Aadhaar Card Number, then the captcha. Your name and certificate details will appear automatically. Click 'Proceed'. 6. Fill in the primary details form, including father/guardian name, caste and sub-caste, course type, last passed exam, passing year, and contact details (mobile for OTP, email). Create a strong password. 7. Submit the details and download the computer-generated Acknowledgement Slip, which contains your User ID and Password. Keep these credentials safe. ###

  Completing the Application Form 1. Visit `https://oasis.gov.in` and click on 'Registered Student's Login'. 2. Log in using your User ID, Password, and select your district. 3. Click on 'Further Details' to fill in all required information, such as communication address, institution details, and bank account information (Bank Name, Account Number, IFSC Code, MICR Code). Ensure your bank account is Aadhaar-seeded. 4. After filling all details, click on 'Verify and Lock'. Once locked, you cannot edit the application. 5. Download and print your complete application form. ###

  Submission of Hard Copy 1. Attach necessary documents to the printed application form: stamp-size photograph, attested copy of the mark sheet/certificate of the last examination, attested copy of Caste Certificate, copy of the first page of your bank passbook, income certificate, Aadhaar card, admission receipt of the new course. 2. Submit the signed application form and documents to your concerned Block Development Officer (BDO) office (for block areas) or Project Officer-cum-District Welfare Officer (PO-cum-DWO) office (for corporation and municipality areas). ###

  Tracking Application Status 1. Visit the official Oasis portal: `https://oasis.gov.in`. 2. Click on the 'Track an Application' button on the homepage. 3. Select the district where your institution is situated. 4. Enter your Application Serial Number/User ID, Applied District, Academic Session, and the security code/captcha. 5. Click 'Check Status' to view the current status of your application (e.g., Submitted, Under Verification, Approved, Rejected, Payment Processed).
