€8,000 (approx. ₹8.7 Lakh+)

The scholarship provides an annual allowance of €8,000 (gross), paid in two installments of €4,000 each academic year. It also includes a full tuition fee waiver, meaning beneficiaries are only required to pay the regional fee and the revenue stamp per academic year. (Approximate annual amount in INR is 872,000 based on 1 EUR = 109 INR)

Inclusions

Nationality:Must not hold Italian citizenship (unless it is a dual citizenship that includes Italian). Open to highly talented prospective international students from all over the world.
Residency:Must not be resident in Italy at the time of application.
Academic Qualification:Must hold a non-Italian secondary school diploma (for Bachelor's degree courses and/or single-cycle degree courses) or a foreign degree diploma (for Master's degree courses) that is valid for access to the Italian university system.
Program of Study:Must apply to an English-taught Bachelor's or Master's degree program at the University of Padua within the specified deadlines.
Other Scholarships:Applicants must not be recipients of other scholarships.

Selection Process

The selection process is highly competitive and is based on academic excellence
Candidates with the highest scores, strongest academic records, and best course track are considered
The Teaching Committee of each degree course selects the admitted candidates who will be awarded a scholarship based on academic achievements and the quality of their previous academic career
There is no separate application for the scholarship
eligible candidates are automatically considered when they apply for an eligible English-taught degree program.

Renewal Policy

The scholarship has a maximum duration of 2 years for Master's degree programs and 3 years for Bachelor's and/or single-cycle degree programs
To retain the scholarship, beneficiaries must earn at least 20 CFU (ECTS credits) by the 30th of November of the following academic year
The scholarship may be revoked if recipients fail to meet academic requirements, decide to transfer to another university, or apply to withdraw from their studies.

Register as a new applicant on the University of Padua's online application portal (apply.unipd.it).

Complete Application
Fill in the online application form and upload all required documents for your chosen degree program. You may apply for up to two degree programs simultaneously in the same application cycle.

If you are applying for a degree program that requires the CEnT-S test, you should register for and pay the CEnT-S test fee on the CISIA website instead of the application fee.

Submit Application
Submit your complete degree application before the specified deadline. There is no separate scholarship application form; eligible candidates are automatically considered for the Padua International Excellence Scholarship based on their degree application.

Provisional certificates are accepted if the final qualification has not yet been obtained. Qualification must reflect at least 12 years of schooling or equivalent.

English language proficiency certificate (if required by the specific degree program; e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, B2 level certificate)
