The scheme is 100% funded by the State Plan Fund. Scholarship funds are disbursed directly to Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts, and linking Aadhaar with the bank account is mandatory for fund disbursal. For the academic year 2025-26, beneficiary amounts were observed to range from approximately INR 8,060 to INR 12,380 per annum for various post-matric courses.
