Q.Which students are eligible for Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities?

Students belonging to notified minority communities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, and Zoroastrians/Parsis) studying in Classes 1-10 with minimum 50% marks in previous final examination and annual family income not exceeding ₹1,00,000.

Q.What is the scholarship amount provided under this scheme?

Students in Classes 1-5 receive ₹100 per month. Students in Classes 6-10 receive ₹600 per month for school expenses and ₹100 per month as hosteller allowance (if applicable).

Q.How many students from one family can avail this scholarship?

Maximum two students from one family can avail the Pre-Matric Scholarship. The third sibling is not eligible for this scheme.
