The scholarship provides full tuition fee reimbursement (RTF - Reimbursement of Tuition Fee) for most eligible courses and a maintenance allowance (MTF - Maintenance Fee). For self-financed courses, the reimbursement is up to ā¹20,000 or the actual fee, whichever is less. The Maintenance Fee varies based on the course group. From the academic year 2026-27, scholarship amounts, including both RTF and MTF, will be directly credited to the student's Aadhaar-linked bank account via the Aadhaar Payment Bridge System (APBS) in a single installment each academic year, after which the student will pay the applicable fees to the educational institution.
