How to Apply Online

Applications are submitted online via Online. Complete eKYC, upload scanned documents, and submit before the closing date.

  Click on the 'Academics' tab on the Home Page.

  Find Scholarship Updates

  Under the 'Academics' section, select 'Scholarships Updates.

  Access Application Link

  On the 'Scholarships Updates' page, look for the 'Notice – Inviting applications for 5th Year Financial Assistance (July-December 2026)' or the relevant academic year's notification. Click the option to 'Submit application for 5th Year Financial Assistance' for the current cycle. This will typically lead to a Google Form.

  Fill the Google Form

  Carefully fill out the Google Form with accurate information. You will need to log in with your University mail account (e.g., XXXX@uohyd.ac.in).

  Upload Documents

  Upload a single PDF file containing soft copies of the following documents (named with your Registration Number, e.g., '21XXXX21.pdf'): * Filled-in application form for 5th Year Financial Assistance, duly certified and signed by your Supervisor, Head of Department, and Dean. * 9th and 10th Semester Registration Cards. * Doctoral Research Committee (DRC) progress report and recommendation for both 9th and 10th semesters. * Valid Income Certificate of the parent for the previous financial year (less than ₹2 Lakhs) from a Tehsildar/Mandal Revenue Officer/equivalent government officer. * A copy of your SBI Savings Bank Account Passbook. * A copy of your PAN Card. * A copy of your Aadhar Card (if required for backward district claim) or Nativity Certificate. * Valid Caste Certificate (if applicable, OBC-NCL issued within last 3 years).

  Submit Application

  After completing the form and uploading documents, click the "Submit" button.

  Hard Copy Submission (if required)

  A hard copy of the application and supporting documents might also need to be submitted to the Fellowships & Scholarships Section as per the specific notice's instructions for the relevant semester. Status Tracking: * The University typically posts result notifications and updates on its official 'Scholarships Updates' webpage. Candidates are advised to visit this site regularly for updates, as no individual communication may be sent. * For offline processed fellowships (which includes 5th Year Financial Assistance), the Fellowships & Scholarships Section verifies the scholar's active on-roll status and forwards the payment bill to the Finance & Accounts Section for disbursement. Contacting the DSW office or Fellowships & Scholarships Section via the provided helpline or email for specific status inquiries may be an option after a reasonable processing period.
