Benefits & Financial Support
The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the approved standard course duration. This is approximately 36,850 AUD per year, which converts to about 2,432,100 INR (based on 1 AUD = 66.00 INR). The scholarship does not include a stipend or health insurance.
Inclusions
Be an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident of Australia).
Meet all admission requirements for the selected course by the closing date of the scholarship application.
Commence full-time studies on campus (Sydney). On-campus studies include face-to-face and/or online (remote) learning applicable to all degrees, except online degrees and distance mode degrees.
Have completed an Australian Year 12 or high school studies comparable to an Australian Year 12 outside of Australia no longer than three (3) years prior to commencing at UTS and be admitted based on this qualification to UTS.
Have an overall average of 85% where the pass mark is 50% or equivalent in a UTS recognized high school qualification.
Apply using the UTS online Scholarships Application form to be eligible.
Must not be:studying a UTS online degree or distance mode degree; a government-sponsored student; or a recipient of another UTS scholarship for the duration of this Scholarship.

Selection Process
The scholarship will be awarded to the highest-ranked applicant based on academic merit in the academic qualification used for admission into the selected UTS Bachelor degree program, coupled with the applicant's responses to the questions asked in the UTS online scholarship application.
Renewal Policy
The recipient must achieve a minimum Pass average (WAM 50+) in each session
If the pass average is not achieved, payment of the scholarship may be suspended or terminated, unless the recipient can demonstrate exceptional circumstances for the Scholarship Selection Committee's consideration
The scholarship is not transferable to other UTS courses.

The application period for the UTS Vice-Chancellor's International Undergraduate Scholarships for the Spring session 2026 (July 2026 commencement) was from March 16, 2026, to April 13, 2026, and is now closed. Official application deadlines for the 2027 academic intake have not yet been announced.
