Let's convert an Indian student's score from VTU / Delhi University:

• Student's CGPA ($N_x$) = 8.2
• Maximum CGPA ($N_{\max}$) = 10.0
• Minimum Passing CGPA ($N_{\min}$) = 4.0

The Minimum Passing Mark Trap ($N_{\min}$)

Different Indian universities have different minimum passing marks!

• VTU / Anna University / DU: Minimum passing CGPA is usually 4.0 (or 40%).
