Students belonging to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi, and Jewish communities who are permanent residents (domicile) of Maharashtra state are eligible to apply.

The annual family income of the applicant's parents or guardians must not exceed ₹5,00,000 (Rs. 5 Lakhs) from all sources. A valid income certificate issued by a competent authority (Tahsildar) is required.
