About the Program
The Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana provides ₹20,000 per year to vulnerable and marginalized students in Odisha pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses in government-recognized institutions with family income below ₹2.5 lakh annually including HIV/AIDS affected families, homeless households, single mother families, orphans, transgender students, manual scavengers, bonded laborers, PVTGs, and girls rescued from child marriage.
Benefits & Financial Support
₹20,000 per annum for the normal duration of the course. Paid via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly into the student's Aadhaar-seeded bank account.

Renewal Policy
Renewed annually for the course duration, subject to continued enrollment and verification by the Head of the Institution
