Additionally, students enrolled in Government ITIs and Polytechnics receive a monthly maintenance allowance of ₹2,000 for hostellers (or those in certified messes) and ₹1,000 for day scholars to cover food, learning aids, and other incidental expenses. All disbursements, including reimbursements and allowances, are typically transferred directly to the eligible students' Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts.
