The Post Matric Scholarship for SC students in Odisha provides financial assistance covering tuition fees plus monthly maintenance allowance for students from Scheduled Caste families with income below ₹2.5 lakh pursuing post-matriculation education.
Benefits & Financial Support
The scholarship provides up to ₹5,50,000 per annum for tuition/course fees and up to ₹13,500 as an Annual Maintenance Allowance. Financial assistance is disbursed via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly to the Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts of eligible SC students, ensuring transparent and timely delivery of funds.

Selection Process
Candidates are selected based on eligibility criteria: belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) community, being a permanent resident of Odisha, having a total annual family income not exceeding ₹2,50,000, and pursuing recognized post-matriculation courses in government, aided, or private institutions
New applicants and renewals are processed through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal (OSSP) after verification of income and caste certificates.
Renewal Policy
Annual renewal is granted to continuing students who maintain the eligibility criteria, including income limits and course enrollment
Renewal applications must be submitted online through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal before the revised deadline of December 31, 2025
Students must update any changes in bank details or course information and ensure their Aadhaar is linked to their bank account for DBT.
Application Process

- 2Register
Click on "Student Login" or "Register" and create an account using your Aadhaar number and mobile number.
- 3OTR Number
Generate a One-Time Registration (OTR) number via the National Scholarship Portal (if required).
- 4Select Category
Choose "SC" as your category and fill in the application form with personal, academic, and family details.
- 5Enter Course & Income Details
Provide course information, institution name, and total annual family income (must be ≤ ₹2,50,000).
- 6Upload Documents
Upload scanned copies of Aadhaar, caste certificate, income certificate, marksheet, bank passbook, and college ID.
- 7Verify & Submit
Review all entered data, tick the terms and conditions, and click "Submit".
- 8Track Status
Use your login credentials to track application status on the portal.
