The scholarship provides financial assistance covering actual tuition/course fees, admission fees, library fees, and sports fees. Additionally, a monthly maintenance allowance is provided, varying based on the course group and whether the student is a hosteller or day scholar. For Class 11-12, hostellers can receive up to ₹1,000 per month (₹12,000 annually) and day scholars up to ₹550 per month (₹6,600 annually). For Group 1 (Degree and Post Graduate professional courses), hostellers can receive up to ₹13,500 annually and day scholars up to ₹7,000 annually. For Group 2 (Other professional courses leading to Degree, Diploma, Certificate), hostellers can receive up to ₹9,500 annually and day scholars up to ₹6,500 annually. The maximum financial assistance, including tuition fees and maintenance allowance, can be up to ₹5,50,000 per annum for eligible courses. Scholarship funds are disbursed directly to the Aadhaar-seeded bank account of eligible students through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) after the application review and selection process.
