The Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana provides variable financial assistance ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹1,00,000 per annum, depending on the course and institution type. For students in Government Institutions, the scholarship covers actual tuition fees, annual fees, one-time fees, and hostel charges, excluding caution money or refundable amounts. For students in Private Institutions, the scholarship amount is released as per a capped fee structure, for example, ₹60,000 per year for B.Tech Engineering, ₹66,000 for M.Tech Engineering, ₹65,000 for MBA, ₹37,950 for 4-5 years medical education, and ₹19,450 for nursing education. Students admitted to premier institutions (NIT, IIT, IIM, AIIMS, ICAR) can receive up to ₹1,00,000 or actual recommended fees, whichever is lower. Additionally, hostel and mess charges are provided: ₹1,200 per month for 10 months for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Ph.D., and Premier Institution students, and ₹1,000 per month for 10 months for Diploma, Polytechnic, and Industrial Training Institute students. All scholarship funds are disbursed directly to the student's Aadhaar-linked bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
