Educational Qualification
School (6-12), Diploma/Polytechnic, ITI/ITC
Must be enrolled in Class 6 onwards, Class 9 to Class 12, ITI, ITC, Polytechnic, Diploma, Technical courses, All regular courses in government and recognized private institutions.

Merit-based selection for children of registered Building and Other Construction Workers who are permanent residents of Odisha
Parent or guardian MUST be registered beneficiary under OB and OCWWB Board with minimum 1 year continuous registration
Parent must have made up-to-date annual contributions to the board and maintain active worker status
If both parents are registered BOC workers scholarship for one child can be claimed by only one parent not both separately
Maximum two children from one family eligible for assistance
Class 6 and 7 scholarship available ONLY for girl children while Class 8 onwards open to both boys and girls
Student must maintain minimum 50% annual attendance to continue receiving benefits
Girl students receive 20% higher amount than boys from Class 8 onwards
Selection based on verification of parent BOC registration status document completeness and academic attendance records
Courses eligible include ITI training Diploma education Polytechnic and regular school education in government and recognized private institutions within Odisha.

Application Process
1. Visit scholarship.odisha.gov.in and click Registration for new users, 2. Read instructions tick declaration checkbox and click Proceed, 3. Enter Aadhaar number and click Get OTP, 4. Validate OTP received on Aadhaar-registered mobile number, 5. Complete registration with personal details and create password, 6. Login with unique ID or Aadhaar number and password, 7. Navigate to Schemes section and look for BOC Scholarship or Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana, 8. Click Apply button next to scheme name, 9. Fill application form with student details parent BOC worker details and academic information, 10. Upload all required documents including BOC worker ID card and contribution proof, 11. Provide bank account details with DBT enabled, 12. Submit application and download acknowledgment receipt, 13. Institution will verify attendance and enrollment online minimum 50% attendance required, 14. District Labour Officer reviews parent BOC registration status, 15. Track application status through student dashboard on portal
