Sudakshya scheme aims at improving girls enrollment in ITIs and Polytechnics in Odisha through stipends and fee waivers.

The scholarship provides financial benefits including reimbursement of admission fees (₹5,600 for two years), hostel seat rent (₹1,500 per annum), and uniform cost (₹3,000, usually one-time). Additionally, a monthly maintenance allowance is provided: ₹1,500 per month (₹18,000 annually) for hostellers and ₹500 per month (₹6,000 annually) for day scholars. Maintenance allowances for apprenticeship training after ITI are ₹1,000 per month for in-state and ₹1,500 per month for out-of-state. A one-month maintenance allowance of ₹5,000 is also provided after completing 6 months of employment outside the state. Benefits are directly transferred to the student's Aadhaar-seeded bank account, with maintenance allowances typically released on a half-yearly basis. Students receiving financial support from other schemes will receive differential amounts only.
