The Post Matric Scholarship for OBC/SEBC students in Odisha provides financial assistance covering tuition fees plus monthly maintenance allowance for students from Other Backward Classes families with income below ₹2.5 lakh who scored minimum 50% marks pursuing post-matriculation education.
Benefits & Financial Support
Financial assistance up to ₹5,50,000 per annum for course fees and an annual maintenance allowance of up to ₹13,500. Payments are made via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly to the student's Aadhaar-seeded bank account.

Post-Matric (Class 11-12), Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), Diploma/Polytechnic
Must be enrolled in relevant courses. Minimum 50% marks required in previous exam.

Selection Process
Candidates are selected based on eligibility criteria including community (OBC/SEBC), permanent residency in Odisha, family income (≤₹2,50,000), and minimum 50% marks in the last qualifying exam
Selection is processed through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal (OSSP) after document verification by the college scholarship cell.
Renewal Policy
Annual renewal requires proof of passing the previous academic year without backlogs, maintaining the required attendance, and continuous enrollment in the same course
Students must apply for renewal through the OSSP portal using existing login credentials before the deadline.

Click on Student Login or Register with Aadhaar. If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile/Email ID.

Choose OBC/SEBC category from the dropdown.
- 4Fill Form
Complete the application form with personal, academic, and bank details.
- 5Upload Documents
Upload PDFs (max 500 KB each) of: - Aadhaar Card (linked to mobile) - Income Certificate - Caste Certificate - Bank Passbook (first page) for DBT - 10th & 12th Certificates & Mark sheets - Passport-size photo - Self-declaration & Institute declaration

Submit the application before December 31, 2025 (extended deadline).
