Students are automatically considered for the Monash International Leadership Scholarships upon receiving an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework offer. Consideration for the 2026/2027 academic intake (for 2027 enrollment) occurs in multiple rounds, with the deadline for Round two consideration for Semester one or two of 2027 being November 15, 2026.

Applications must be submitted and finalized before 11:59 PM on the closing date. We advise students to submit applications at least a week in advance to avoid last-minute server bottlenecks.

Q.Is a separate application required for the Monash International Leadership Scholarship?
Yes, after receiving a full Monash University course offer, you must submit a separate scholarship application form along with a 500-word statement. You are not required to submit additional supporting documents with the scholarship application itself, as these are considered part of your course application.
Q.What expenses are covered by this scholarship?
The scholarship covers 100% of your course fees until you complete the minimum credit points for your degree. It explicitly excludes Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), accommodation, and living expenses.
Q.How many Monash International Leadership Scholarships are awarded each year?
Up to four of these prestigious scholarships are awarded annually to outstanding international students.
Q.What are the academic requirements to maintain the scholarship?
To continue receiving the scholarship in subsequent semesters, recipients must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 or above. Additionally, recipients are expected to participate in leadership and promotional activities for the university.
