ಒಡಿಶಾದಲ್ಲಿ EBC ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪೂರ್ವ ಮೆಟ್ರಿಕ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನವು 9-10ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓದುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮತ್ತು ₹2.5 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಆದಾಯ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಾಲಾ ಶುಲ್ಕ, ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು, ಸಮವಸ್ತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಭತ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ನೆರವು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.

9-10ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓದುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮತ್ತು ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ₹2.5 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಕೌಟುಂಬಿಕ ಆದಾಯ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ EBC ವರ್ಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೆರಿಟ್ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಆಯ್ಕೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಇತರ ರಾಜ್ಯ/ಕೇಂದ್ರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅನರ್ಹರು. ವಿತರಣೆಗೆ ಮುನ್ನ ಶಾಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ.
