IGNOU July 2026 Re-registration Deadline Extended to July 31

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended its re-registration deadline. Students for the July 2026 academic session now have more time. The final date for re-registration is July 31, 2026.

This extension applies to all eligible programs. It covers courses offered via Open and Distance Learning (ODL). Online mode programs are also included.

Who Can Re-register?

This process is for currently enrolled students. It allows them to enroll for their next semester or year. This is not for new admissions to IGNOU.

Eligibility requires you to be an existing student. You must have completed at least one prior academic session.

How to Re-register

Visit the official IGNOU Samarth portal. The link is ignou.samarth.edu.in or onlinerr.ignou.ac.in. Log in using your enrollment number and password.

Carefully select your courses for the upcoming session. Verify all your personal and academic details.

Fees and Payment

Program fees vary by course. Pay the required fee online. You can use debit/credit card, Net Banking, or UPI.

After successful payment, download your confirmation page. Keep a copy for your records.

Important Reminders

Ensure your chosen payment method is active. Digital payments are processed in real-time. Do not close your browser during payment.

If your bank account is mapped for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), ensure it's active. While not directly for scholarship, general financial transactions benefit from this.

Missing the deadline could mean losing an academic session. A late fee of INR 200 might be charged.
