Benefits & Financial Support
The LSE Graduate Support Scheme (GSS) provides awards ranging from £5,000 to £20,000, depending on the applicant's financial need. These awards are intended to supplement existing funding for tuition fees and living costs, not to provide a full funding package. The award is primarily applied towards tuition fees, with any remaining amount disbursed for living costs in instalments. (Approximate conversion used: 1 GBP = 105 INR, so £5,000 = ~525,000 INR and £20,000 = ~2,100,000 INR).
Inclusions
- Open to all applicants for diploma and taught master's study at LSE. - Not open to applicants undertaking specific modular or executive programmes such as the MSc Finance (Part-time), MSc Health Economics, Policy and Management, and MSc International Strategy and Diplomacy. - Double degree students are eligible for the GSS during their time at LSE. - Must demonstrate financial need, as the scheme is means-tested. - Applicants are expected to have secured or be in the process of securing other sources of funding, as GSS awards are supplementary. - Must have received an unconditional or conditional offer of admission to an eligible programme by the scholarship application deadline.
