The scholarship is primarily divided into two components: Reimbursement of Tuition Fees (RTF) and Maintenance Fee (MTF). The RTF covers full tuition fees, special fees, other fees, and examination fees as fixed by competent authorities, and this amount is reimbursed directly to the respective college accounts. The MTF, intended for food and hostel expenses, is credited directly to the bank account of the student's mother through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system to Aadhaar-seeded accounts. In case of the demise or absence of the mother, the amount is credited to the natural guardian's bank account. Annual maintenance allowances (MTF) are Rs. 10,000 for ITI students, Rs. 15,000 for Polytechnic students, and Rs. 20,000 for students pursuing Degree and above courses per year.

Additionally, the family should not hold more than 10 acres of wetland, 25 acres of dry land, or 25 acres for combining both wet and dry land together

The family should not own a four-wheeler (taxis, tractors, and autos are exempt), or own property exceeding 1500 sq ft of built-up area (residential or commercial) in urban areas

Renewal Policy

For renewal, the College Principal initiates the process on the Jnanabhumi portal by entering the student's current year admission date and the previous year's hall ticket or roll number

Upon successful submission, the student receives an SMS confirmation

Students must then visit their college to view application details and complete the renewal process by providing biometric authentication

Required documents for renewal include previous year's marksheets (no backlogs allowed), current year's fee receipt, an updated income certificate from the MRO, a college bonafide certificate, and an Aadhaar card

A new income certificate is required annually, and a minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory for renewal

How to Apply Online
Applications are submitted online via Online. Complete eKYC, upload scanned documents, and submit before the closing date.
