The total annual family income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakh. [3, 5, 9, 14] Students from various communities including SC, ST, BC, Minorities, Kapu, EBC, Differently-abled, Brahmin, Arya Vysya, Kamma, Reddy, and Kshatriya are eligible. [5] Applicants must be enrolled in Polytechnic, ITI, Degree & above level courses (UG/PG) in government, aided, or private colleges affiliated with State Universities/Boards within Andhra Pradesh. [5, 14, 17] Eligibility criteria also include that no family member should be a government employee/pensioner (excluding sanitary workers), own more than 10 acres of wetland or 25 acres of dry land (or 25 acres combined), own a four-wheeler (excluding taxis/tractors/autos), or own property/built-up area exceeding 1500 sq ft in urban areas. Renewal Policy
For annual renewal, students must apply through the Jnanabhumi portal. [13] The college principal initiates the renewal process by entering the student's current academic year admission date and the Hall Ticket/Roll Number from the preceding year's examination. [14] Students receive an SMS confirming submission, then view their application details, and provide biometric authentication at the college.
