How to Apply Online

Applications are submitted online via Online. Complete eKYC, upload scanned documents, and submit before the closing date.

  Visit the Official Portal

  Go to the official Oasis Scholarship website: `https://oasis.gov.in/` [2, 5].

  Start New Registration

  Click on the 'Student's Registration' or 'New Registration' link [2, 5, 7].

  Select District

  Choose the district where your educational institution is located. If you are studying outside West Bengal, select the district of your permanent address [5].

  Enter Caste Details

  Provide your Name, Father's Name, and your Computerised Caste Certificate Number (manual certificates are generally not accepted) [5].

  Update Basic Information

  Fill in your Date of Birth, Sub-Caste, Current Institution Name, Phone Number, and Email. Upload a scanned passport-size photograph [5].

  Download Acknowledgement Slip

  After successful registration, download the computer-generated Acknowledgement Slip, which contains your User ID/Application Number and Password [5]. ### For Completing Application (Registered Students):

  Login

  Use your registered User ID (Application Number) and Password to log in to the Oasis portal [2, 5].

  Fill Further Details

  Navigate to the 'Further Details' section and accurately fill in your Communication Address, Institution Details, and Bank Account Information (Bank Name, Account Number, IFSC Code, MICR Code). Ensure your bank account is Aadhaar-seeded and enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) [3, 5, 7].

  Verify and Lock

  Carefully review all entered information. Once satisfied, click on 'Verify and Lock Application'. Please note that details cannot be edited after locking [2, 5].

  Print Application

  Download and print the completed application form [2, 5].

  Submit Hard Copy

  Submit the printed application form along with all necessary documents to your respective District Welfare Officer (DWO) scholarship office [2]. ### For Scholarship Renewal:

  Access Renewal Section

  Click on 'Renew Scholarship' in the 'Student's Corner' section [2, 5, 7, 17].

  Login for Renewal

  Enter your User ID (Application Number), Password, and the district where your institution is located, then log in [2, 5, 7, 17].

  Update Details

  Verify your previously submitted details. Update your current class or course information and confirm your promotion status [7, 17].

  Renew and Lock

  After verifying all details, click on 'Renew and Lock Application' [7, 17].

  Print & Submit

  Print the renewed application form and submit it to the DWO scholarship office, along with required renewal documents such as attested mark sheets of the last examination passed and a recent photograph [2, 17]. ### For Tracking Application Status:

  Click on the 'Track an Application' button on the homepage [2, 5, 16, 19].

  Provide your Application Serial Number/User ID and the relevant academic session [5, 16, 19].

  Click 'Check Status' to view the current progress of your application, such as 'Submitted', 'Under Verification', 'Approved', 'Rejected', or 'Payment Processed' [5, 16].
