How to Apply Online

  * Ensure you meet the specific eligibility criteria for the chosen grant, including academic performance (e.g., pass percentage or specific cutoff marks), financial need, and enrollment in a recognized institution. * Prepare mandatory documents: attested clear copies of mark sheets for the previous academic year, family income proof (Income Tax Return, Form 16, employer letter with details, latest pay slip), fee receipts for the current academic year, student's identity proof (PAN/Aadhar card), and a cancelled cheque or the first page of the bank passbook. **

  Application Process (Online by Email for Means Grant 2026-27): * Visit the official Tata Trusts website (tatatrusts.org) and navigate to the 'Education Grants' section. * Look for the specific grant you are applying for and carefully read the detailed instructions, eligibility, and required documents. For the Means Grant, applications are accepted by email. * If an application form is provided (either downloadable or to be filled online in a single sitting), complete it accurately. Ensure all mandatory questions are answered. * Compile all supporting documents as clear, legible PDF attachments. Ensure each document is appropriately named (e.g., StudentName-MarksheetSem1.pdf, StudentName-IncomeProof.pdf). Do not submit documents via drive links. * Send a single email with the completed application form (if applicable) and all attached mandatory documents to the specified email address for the grant (e.g., igpedu@tatatrusts.org or talktous@tatatrusts.org, depending on the specific grant and instructions). * Use the correct subject line format as instructed (e.g., '<<Stream Name>>-<<Student Name>>'). * Submit within the specified deadline. Multiple emails for a single application or submission from multiple email IDs will not be considered.

  Status Tracking

  * If you applied through an online portal (for specific scholarships that offer this feature), you can usually sign in to your account and select 'Applied Scholarship' to view the status of your application. * For email-based applications, keep track of the email correspondence. The Trusts will use the email ID provided in the application for all future communications. * Note that no clarification will be sought after document submission, and incomplete/unclear applications will be voided.
